The People's Covenant
Not a contract. A covenant.
"We, the people of Tshwane, stand at a crossroads. Five mayors in one term. Water crisis in Hammanskraal. kasi Youth without work, Water Tanker and Expensive Electricity."
This manifesto is not merely a list of promises – it is a covenant with every resident. It is a commitment rooted in the moral principles of justice, integrity, and stewardship, enshrined in the constitutional values of our nation.
We believe that Tshwane is not just a city to be run, but a home to be nurtured, a capital to be proud of, and a legacy to be restored. Re tla thusa batho pele. We will serve the people first.
"Zwakalang Retsea our city. Re busetse matla a Dieplek ko bathong. Batho Batla Pele Eseng Before Politicians."
– Larry Matlala, Founder
How Communities
Choose Their Champions
Community Nominates
No parachute candidates. You cannot represent a ward you do not live in. Champions must be nominated by residents – proof of local roots required.
Community Endorses
Minimum 50 verified signatures from ward residents. You must demonstrate community trust before PTA endorsement.
Community Recalls
30% of registered voters can petition for immediate recall. You serve at the pleasure of the people – not party bosses.
